Postnatal yogaThese classes are sequenced to strengthen and stretch out tension around the neck and shoulders to realign the spine to allow us to breathe more deeply.
When we breathe properly, we have much more energy and strengthen our core stability. We strengthen the whole body through a safe flowing Vinyasa-style practice focusing on the pelvic floor, core, glute strength and always finishing with much-needed relaxation. It’s a wonderful way to connect with other local mothers and babies making lasting new friendships. It is important to rest and bond with your baby until 6 weeks after birth. When you have consulted your doctor and are ready to return to practice. Postnatal classes can be joined with or without baby. |
strengthening VinyasaYoga that flows gracefully from one posture to another making the transitions part of the focus allowing a continuous practice with continuous focus on the breath accompanied by music.
Whilst Toni is alignment focused to protect students from injury she doesn't believe there are any perfect postures and strongly advises we work with our bodies instead of against them using postures to enjoy movement and explore whilst building strength, flexibility and balance helping to find space within body and mind. |
