Mum and baby yogaThese classes are sequenced to strengthen and stretch the tension around the neck and shoulders, realigning the spine to allow for deeper breathing.
When we breathe properly, we have much more energy and strengthen our core stability. We strengthen the whole body through a safe, flowing Vinyasa-style practice that focuses on pelvic floor, core, and glute strength, always finishing with much-needed relaxation. It’s a wonderful way to connect with other local mothers and babies, making lasting new friendships. It is important to rest and bond with your baby until 6 weeks after birth. When you have consulted your doctor and are ready to return to practice. Postnatal classes can be joined with or without a baby. |
strengthening VinyasaYoga that flows gracefully from one posture to another, making the transitions part of the focus, allowing a continuous practice with continuous focus on the breath, accompanied by music.
Whilst Toni is alignment-focused to protect students from injury, she doesn't believe there are any perfect postures and strongly advises we work with our bodies instead of against them, using postures to enjoy movement and explore whilst building strength, flexibility and balance, helping to find space within body and mind. |
